Beneath the Stains of Time explores the trauma endured by a seventeen year old Simon Sutton, and what our childhood does to shape our identity. Contrasted with a thirty-three year old Alex, haunted by his father's crimes and the lurking anger inside himself, it challenges the painful relationship between father and son, through years of abuse, and a young man's fear of turning out anything like his father.
